This gorgeous and delicious, garnet-hued juice is made possible by two nutrition superstars – red cabbage and organic red grapes.

Red cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable, and possibly one of the healthiest foods on earth. Cabbage juice is known for healing ulcers and relieving the symptoms of bowel diseases such as IBS and Chron’s. Because it is so rich in polyphenols, cabbage is also known for cancer prevention and decreased risk of Type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Fresh grape juice also has many health benefits. The ellagic acid found in grapes is cancer protective, preventing cancer-causing agents from damaging DNA. Grape juice has also been found to help regulate blood sugar, insulin response and insulin sensitivity. And grapes are packed with an alphabet soup of antioxidants for health and vitality.

The health supporting phytonutrients of both cabbage and grapes deserve their own blog posts!
