This delicious, chocolate smoothie is a guilt-free indulgence.  Banana and organic cherries provide natural sweetness.  Maca is a terrific adaptogen, helping balance hormones and improve mood and energy. Plant-based protein powder helps you stay fuller longer. The coconut milk provides medium-chain fatty acids for energy. Raw cacao, possibly the highest source of antioxidants and magnesium of all foods,  is hands down the star of this smoothie.

Raw Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

1 cup So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk (sub with any plant-milk)
1 banana (frozen, if you want your smoothie to be thick like soft-serve ice cream)
1 cup frozen organic sweet cherries
2 Tbsp. organic raw cacao
1 tsp. maca powder (omit if you are pregnant or nursing)
½ – 1 scoop Vega Protein & Greens powder (sub any vegan protein powder or 2 Tbs. almond butter)

Place all ingredients in a blender and give it a whirl.  Garnish with cacao nibs if desired.
